New Forest Baseball was founded in 2022, with the aim of widening the reach of baseball on the South Coast. Starting with just 9 members the club grew quickly in the lead-up to the New Forest ThunderKnights debut season in 2023. The season was a rousing success, competing in the South West & Wales Baseball League (SWWBL) at the Single-A level. We made the play-offs in our first ever season, losing in the Semi-Finals to the eventual National Champions, Cardiff Merlins.

The club continued to grow and in 2024 we split into two teams; The New Forest Knights and the New Forest Thunder.

We are a club focused on having fun, while playing the sport we love. Our aspirations are to develop baseball in the region even further. In late 2024 we found a permanent home at Gang Warily Recreation Centre, which is our permanent new home from the 2025 season onwards.
