New Forest Baseball was founded in 2022, with the aim of widening the reach of baseball on the South Coast. Starting with just 9 members the club grew quickly in the lead-up to our debut season in 2023. Our debut season was a rousing success, competing in the South West & Wales Baseball League (SWWBL) at the Single-A level. We made the play-offs in our first ever season, losing in the Semi-Finals to the eventual National Champions, Cardiff Merlins.

The club continued to grow and in 2024 we split into two teams; The New Forest Knights, who remained in SWWBL Single-A. And the New Forest Thunder, who were placed in the British Baseball Federation (BBF) South West division at the Triple-A level.

We are a club focused on having fun, while playing the sport we love. Our aspirations are to develop our permanent home in the New Forest, and grow the club even further. In late 2024 we found a permanent home at Gang Warily Recreation Centre, and set about getting it ready for the 2025 season.
